Bim's Field - Sunday 26th July


The Manx Trials Club hosted its introductory trial for newcomers and novice riders on Sunday, and once again it proved to be a fantastic success. With fine weather, a great atmosphere, and plenty of enthusiastic riders, the event was enjoyed by everyone involved.


The sections were expertly set, providing just the right level of challenge to help riders develop their skills while remaining enjoyable and approachable for those new to the sport. The positive feedback from competitors spoke for itself, with plenty of smiles at the finish.


A huge thank you goes to Mark Bimson for once again making his land available for the event. Thanks also to the club committee for their hard work in organising the trial, and to our dedicated observers who generously gave up their time to ensure the day ran smoothly. Your support is greatly appreciated and makes events like this possible.

Newcomers and Novice Trial 2025


Bim's Field - Sunday 28th September


The Manx Trials Club rolled out its introductory trial for newcomers and novices for the second time this year – and it was another brilliant success. The weather was good, spirits were high, and the field was buzzing with riders eager to take on the challenge.


The sections were spot on, thoughtfully marked out by Allan Lund, whose hard work made the whole event possible. They struck the perfect balance - just tricky enough to test skills, but still friendly and fun for those finding their feet. Riders loved it, and the feedback was full of smiles and praise.


A big shout out to Mark Bimson for once again opening up his land, to Allan for his time and effort, and to the fantastic observers who gave up their day to keep things running smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you!

The Manx Trials Club hosted its introductory trial for newcomers and novice riders for the fourth consecutive year. The event saw a fantastic turnout and a thoroughly enjoyable day for all involved.


The sections were thoughtfully laid out, perfectly suited to the abilities of the riders and provided just the right level of challenge. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. A huge thank you to Mark Bimson for the generous use of his land and sincere thanks to all the observers who gave up their time to help the event run so smoothly.

The Manx Trials Club ran an introductory trial for newcomers and novice riders, for a second year running. It was a beautiful sunny day and all our riders had a fantastic time. The course consisted of 4 laps of 8 sections in Billown Glen. The sections were laid out to accommodate novice riders, with an alternative route for Sportsman riders.

Newcomers and Novice Trial 2022


Eary Vane – Sunday 31st July


The Manx Trials Club ran an introductory trial for newcomers. It was a grand day out for all concerned. The sections were adjusted accordingly to accommodate the new entries. The Sportsman and Clubman class were riding the same sections which were laid out to suit both classes. The course consisted of 3 laps of 7 sections, which was spread over nearly 4 miles. This comprised of track and flat fields. The weather was bright and sunny, but a bit windy.
